How do I apply my sticky products?

There’s a protective film covering the rubber backing of your sticky to keep it clean until you use it for the first time. Peel off this film and make sure the backing stays dust-free. If the protective film has already been removed, check to see if there’s any dust on the back. If so, clean the back with a slightly damp cloth. Stick your sticky whiteboard to a smooth surface. Thanks to its vacuum technology, it adheres effortlessly to any smooth surface. So make sure you position it perfectly straight, because it won’t slide once it’s in place. Did you end up hanging it crooked? Peel it off with one hand, so you don’t damage the sticky, and reapply it. Keep doing this until it’s perfectly straight 🙂

How do I clean my sticky products?

To clean our sticky products, use a slightly damp cloth and gently wipe the written surface. We also provide a special cloth and a small refillable spray bottle that you can hang next to the sticky. This makes it easy to clean your planner or board so you can write new text on it. Please note: unlike with a traditional whiteboard, you should not use a regular (dry) eraser. To make the board look truly like new again, it’s important that the cloth is slightly damp. Clean the back of your sticky products the same way: wipe them down with a slightly damp cloth.

Are the products magnetic?

No, they aren’t. Fortunately not, because then they would only stick to a steel surface, be extremely heavy, and either slide around easily or be impossible to move. Our sticky products do stick to steel surfaces, but not because of a magnetic force field—they do so thanks to our innovative vacuum technology. As a result, they stick perfectly to steel, as well as to other smooth surfaces such as smooth-painted wood, tiles, or glass.

Can I write on GreenStory products with any whiteboard marker?

Yes, that’s perfectly fine. In general, the ink from any erasable whiteboard marker can be removed with a cloth and a little water. Of course, we’ve tested all the brands of markers ourselves and always come back to one favorite: the Staedtler Lumocolor Non-Permanent 305 F and M. These markers are available in black, blue, red, and green. The markers dry quickly, and the organisch , water-based ink doesn’t smudge.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

In the Netherlands, shipping takes 1 to 2 days; internationally, depending on your location, it takes 3 to 5 days. Shipping is free to most European countries on orders of €80 or more.
