Step 3: Move items as often as you like

Want to move it to a different spot? Grab the planner with one hand by one corner and gently peel it off the surface. Stick the planner to another smooth surface.

Does it work for you at home?

Our boards use a vacuum, so they don’t require glue or magnets. They stick to virtually any smooth, clean, and dry surface: from the refrigerator to a door, a window, or a cabinet door.

  • Sticks immediately

    refrigerator

It also works on the smooth fronts and sides of built-in refrigerators. Just degrease the surface, and the board will stick.

  • Sticks immediately

    Glass and mirrors

Windows, mirrors, glass doors, and glass splashbacks.

  • Sticks immediately

    varnished wood

A painted door, a cabinet door, or a painted tabletop. Both high-gloss and satin finishes work well.

  • Sticks immediately

    painted wood

A painted interior door or cabinet door. Paint on wood stays put, even if it’s matte.

  • Sticks immediately

Kitchen cabinet fronts and cabinet doors

High-gloss and satin-finish fronts for kitchens, bathrooms, and closets.

  • Sticks immediately

    plastic and laminate

A laminate countertop, a plastic cabinet door, or a coated furniture panel.

  • Sticks immediately

    tiles

Smooth wall tiles in the kitchen or bathroom. It sticks just fine even over grout lines.

  • Sticks immediately

    metal and stainless steel

A steel cabinet door, a range hood, or a powder-coated locker. Brushed stainless steel is also no problem.

  • adheres with foil

    Stain-resistant kitchen cabinet fronts

Special anti-fingerprint fronts, such as IKEA VOXTORP matte or KUNGSBACKA, tend to come loose. But if you put Sticky Foil underneath, it stays in place.

  • adheres with foil

Unvarnished wood with an open grain

Unvarnished oak or veneer that lets you feel the grain. Sticky Foil creates a smooth surface.

  • adheres with foil

    fine-grained wood

Fine-grained wood such as ash or pine. It often adheres right away, and if not, it will stick if you place Sticky Foil underneath.

  • Doesn't stick

    wall paint and wallpaper

Paint sticks well to wood, but not to a wall: the paint will come off when you move the board. Choose the door or cabinet next to it.

  • Doesn't stick

    textured wall and plasterwork

There’s too much space between the board and the wall. Even with adhesive film, it doesn’t work. A smooth door in the same room does work, though.

  • Doesn't stick

    Untreated wood

Rough, porous wood such as scaffolding wood or an untreated plank. Varnished or painted wood is no problem.

  • Doesn't stick

    brick and concrete

Too coarse and too porous to create a vacuum. Find a cabinet door, window, or refrigerator nearby.

Planning at kids' eye level

GreenStory is a Dutch design company that has been working for over ten years to create the perfect sticky planner for every household and organization. Our kids’ planner is a project close to our hearts, one we’ve put a lot of thought into—from the right layout and color scheme to the perfect size. Because we believe that learning to organize from a young age is about more than just planning. It’s about taking ownership of your life. When children learn to write down their own thoughts and tasks, they free up space in their minds for what really matters: playing, discovering, and growing.

It pays to start early

The human brain continues to mature well past the age of 20. The prefrontal cortex—our planning center—is the last part to fully develop. And it remains important: countless studies show that children who learn early on when and how to tackle a task perform better in math and language. So you can count on the planner you’re buying now to stay in your family for another fifteen years or so. Fortunately, your planner is built to last: timeless design, endlessly repositionable. No gray haze over time.

  • Learning to plan early pays off later
  • Designed to last, year after year

Pictograms on the planner

At GreenStory, we use pictograms to make it clear at a glance what’s on the schedule for the week. From sports to shower time and from grocery shopping to birthdays: with over 70 different pictograms, we turn your kids’ schedule into a fun activity.Because even if they can’t read yet, their handwriting is still a bit wobbly, or they’re having trouble focusing, you can fill out the schedule together using a pictogram. And on the blank pictograms, you can add your own drawing or word.
