Our boards use a vacuum, so they don’t require glue or magnets. They stick to virtually any smooth, clean, and dry surface: from the refrigerator to a door, a window, or a cabinet door.

    Unvarnished oak or veneer that lets you feel the grain. Sticky Film creates a smooth surface.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I apply my sticky products?

There’s a protective film over the rubber back of your sticky, so it stays clean for your first use. Peel off this film and make sure the back stays dust-free. If the protective film has already been removed, check to see if there is any dust on the back. If so, clean the back with a slightly damp cloth.

Stick your sticky to a smooth surface. Thanks to vacuum technology, it adheres effortlessly to any smooth surface. So make sure you position it straight, because once it’s on, it won’t slide around. Did you end up hanging it crooked after all? Peel it off with one hand, so you don’t damage the sticky, and reapply it. Keep doing this until it’s perfectly straight :)

Are the products magnetic?

No, they aren’t. Fortunately not, because then they would only stick to a steel surface, be extremely heavy, and either slide around easily or be impossible to move. Our sticky products do stick to steel surfaces, but not because of a magnetic field—they do so thanks to our innovative vacuum technology. This allows them to adhere perfectly to steel, as well as to other smooth surfaces such as smooth-painted wood, tiles, or glass.

How do I clean my sticky products?

Using a slightly damp cloth, gently wipe the written surface. We also provide a special cloth and a small refillable spray bottle, which you can hang next to your sticky boards . This makes it easy to clean your planner or board so you can write new text on it.

Please note: unlike with a traditional whiteboard, you shouldn’t use a regular (dry) eraser. The cloth should be slightly damp to make the board look brand new again. You can clean the back the same way: just wipe it down with a slightly damp cloth.

Can I write on GreenStory products with any whiteboard marker?

Absolutely. In principle, you can remove the ink from any erasable whiteboard marker using a cloth and a little water. We’ve tested all the different brands of markers ourselves, and we always come back to the same favorite: the Staedtler Lumocolor Non-Permanent 305 F and M, available in black, blue, red, and green. The markers dry quickly, and the organisch water-based ink doesn’t smudge.
