Our boards use a vacuum, so they don’t require glue or magnets. They stick to virtually any smooth, clean, and dry surface: from the refrigerator to a door, a window, or a cabinet door.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I apply my sticky products?

There’s a protective film over the rubber back of your sticky, so it stays clean for your first use. Peel off this film and make sure the back stays dust-free. If the protective film has already been removed, check to see if there is any dust on the back. If so, clean the back with a slightly damp cloth.

Stick your sticky to a smooth surface. Thanks to vacuum technology, it adheres effortlessly to any smooth surface. So make sure you position it straight, because once it’s on, it won’t slide around. Did you end up hanging it crooked after all? Peel it off with one hand, so you don’t damage the sticky, and reapply it. Keep doing this until it’s perfectly straight :)

How can I reposition my sticky's without damaging them?

Our top tip: Grab the sticky by one corner with one hand and slowly peel it off the wall or window. We’ve noticed that when people use both hands to peel off the sticky's , a small dent can sometimes form. It doesn’t affect the product’s quality, but it does remain slightly visible after you reposition it. So do us a favor and peel off your sticky with one hand.

If the back is still clean, you can immediately (without wetting it) move the sticky to a different spot. If the back has some dust on it, clean it first with a slightly damp cloth so that the magic vacuum technology can work again.

Help! My GreenStory sticky isn't sticking anymore. What can I do?

GreenStory sticky's feature our innovative vacuum technology that lets them stick to any smooth surface. Is your sticker no longer sticking? Don’t worry—there’s probably just a little too much dust on the back. You can easily fix this by wiping the back with a slightly damp cloth and then reapplying your sticky to a smooth surface.

Please note: the surface must be smooth! You cannot use the sticky's on rough surfaces such as plastered walls, wallpaper, concrete, or brick. sticky also won’t adhere well to a matte or anti-fingerprint coating without our repositionable backing film.

Can I write on GreenStory products with any whiteboard marker?

Absolutely. In principle, you can remove the ink from any erasable whiteboard marker using a cloth and a little water. We’ve tested all the different brands of markers ourselves, and we always come back to the same favorite: the Staedtler Lumocolor Non-Permanent 305 F and M, available in black, blue, red, and green. The markers dry quickly, and the organisch water-based ink doesn’t smudge.
