Which writing materials are best suited for use on Sticky's?

A wide variety of brands offer different ink formulations. However, our Staedtler pens are a favorite because of their fine tip, quick drying time, erasability, and water-based ink. Before trying other pens, we recommend testing them on a small corner first.

Is it possible to use icons on the Sticky Boards?

It’s great to hear that you’re thinking about using icons! You can find Sticky Picto’s in our store. You can also draw fun icons on our Sticky Tabs . 😉

Are the Sticky's equipped with a magnetic function?

Sticky's aren't magnetic; they work using a special vacuum technology. But if you want to make them magnetic, just stick them to a magnetic surface.

Is it really indefinitely stickable?

If the adhesive layer becomes dusty, the adhesive strength decreases. Clean it with water: lay the sheet flat on the counter, pour some water over it and rub until it is clean. Then drain off the remaining water and stick it back on immediately. Drying is not necessary! Small sheets can be rinsed directly under the tap.

Is it possible to have my own design printed?

Absolutely, it is possible to create your own design starting from 500 pieces. Even if you don't reach this number, we are always open to your ideas as inspiration for future designs :) Maybe your suggestion will become our next design!

Step 1: Remove the protective film

Peel off the backing film and press it onto a smooth surface. No water, no glue, no holes.

Step 2: Write and erase

Write with a whiteboard marker and wipe it off dry with the cloth. Has something been there for a while? Just spray a little water on it and it’s gone.

Step 3: Move items as often as you like

Grab it by a corner, gently peel it off the surface, and stick it somewhere else. The vacuum technology will continue to work just fine.

Does it work for you at home?

Our boards use a vacuum, so they don’t require glue or magnets. They stick to virtually any smooth, clean, and dry surface: from the refrigerator to a door, a window, or a cabinet door.

Special anti-fingerprint fronts, such as IKEA VOXTORP matte or KUNGSBACKA, tend to come loose. But if you put Sticky Foil underneath, it stays in place.

Unvarnished oak or veneer that lets you feel the grain. Sticky Foil creates a smooth surface.

Fine-grained wood such as ash or pine. It often adheres right away, and if not, it will stick if you place Sticky Foil underneath.

wall paint and wallpaper

Paint sticks well to wood, but not to a wall: the paint will come off when you move the board. Choose the door or cabinet next to it.

There’s too much space between the board and the wall. Even with adhesive film, it doesn’t work. A smooth door in the same room does work, though.
