We find that when the pen has not been used long and there are problems writing that the cap is too long off the pen. Does the pen no longer write well at all? Depending on how dry the tip is, these steps may help:

1. Shake the pen up and down
2. Place the pen 1-2 hours with the tip uncapped in a glass of water.
3. Try moving your pen across the paper from a different angle.
4. Press hard and lightly sideways on paper with the tip (not on a GreenBook page or sticky sheet!), rotating the pen back and forth slightly. This creates a larger and more consistent flow of ink.

For some users it is not, for others it is. It's very personal. The sheets can be colored. If you prefer white sheets, then the pens are not for you. If a coloring does not matter to you, go for it!

It is important to refill the pen in time, when it still writes well. This way you avoid a dried out tip. You push it down and leave it in for several hours.
