When I actually have obligations I don't feel like doing, the following often happens: instead of finishing my tasks as quickly as possible, I impulsively sign up for fancy actions (think: running a marathon) and buy things that don't fit into my life (think: five books, because god forbid I suddenly fly through the stack of unread books and run out!). Then I can spend my evening thinking about my non-workout schedule or the layout of a yet-to-be-purchased bookcase.

Sometimes I manage to save myself and my bank account, and at the very last moment I hear a little voice saying, "Are you sure this is convenient? Although I ignore it often enough, I know I should actually listen to my inner voice of rationality for a while. When I do indeed do that, and it turns out that my so ideal looking product doesn't actually suit me at all and probably can't prepare for a half marathon within three weeks, I'm still glad I took a moment to change my mind.
But to do that, I need the stories of others. With that idea, GreenStory created the GreenCafé: a place where everyone can share tips and tricks, discuss what's more convenient (bullet journal or to do?), ask questions (which is more sustainable, paper or screen?) and share annoyances and victories in planning.

I am especially looking forward to the last category, and cherish the hope that the planning tips will encourage me to keep those damned commitments. Maybe then I'll keep time for a marathon.
