Are there specific markers I should use for the Sticky's?

Numerous brands have different ink compositions available. Our Staedtler pens are very popular because of their thin tip, fast drying time, erasability and water-based ink. If you want to use other pens, do a test on a corner first.

Can I use pictograms with the Sticky's?

We expect these to be available in the third quarter of 2023! But if you want to brighten up and clarify your Sticky Whiteboard with icons sooner, grab our Sticky Tabs and draw some fun icons. 😉

Do the Sticky's come with a magnetic feature?

No, they aren't magnetic. The Sticky's work using a special vacuum technique. If you want them to be magnetic, you can stick them to a magnetic surface.

Isn't there a limit to the number of times you can paste it?

If the adhesive layer becomes dusty, the adhesive strength will decrease. Clean it with water: lay the sheet flat on the countertop, pour some water over it and rub until it is clean. Then drain off the remaining water and stick it right back on. Drying is not necessary! Small sheets can be rinsed directly under the tap.

Do they offer the option to have my own design printed on the product?

Certainly, it is possible to create your own design starting from 500 pieces. Even if you don't reach this number, we are always open to your ideas for inspiration for future designs :) Who knows, maybe your suggestion will become our next design!

Write with a whiteboard marker. We recommend Staedtler; its ink dries quickly so you won’t smudge what’s already written.

Erase it with the back of the pen or a slightly damp cloth. If you run your hand over it, nothing will come off.

Will it stick at your place?

Our boards use a vacuum, so they don’t require glue or magnets. They stick to virtually any smooth, clean, and dry surface: from the refrigerator to a door, a window, or a cabinet door.

Stain-resistant kitchen cabinet fronts

Special anti-fingerprint fronts, such as IKEA VOXTORP matte or KUNGSBACKA, tend to come loose. But if you put Sticky Film underneath, it stays in place.

Unvarnished wood with an open grain

Unvarnished oak or veneer that lets you feel the grain. Sticky Film creates a smooth surface.

Fine-grained wood such as ash or pine. It often adheres right away, and if not, it will stick if you place Sticky Film underneath.

Paint sticks well to wood, but not to a wall: the paint will come off when you move the board. Choose the door or cabinet next to it.

There’s too much air between the board and the wall. Even with film, it doesn’t work. A smooth door in the same room does work, though.
